Our Team

Dr. Hertz and Dr. Lopez-Torres are committed to providing their patients with the highest levels of preventive, restorative and cosmetic dental care. At Dunwoody Dental, patients are welcomed into a warm, friendly environment that is completely dedicated to quality dental care and patient comfort. Dr. Hertz and Dr. Lopez-Torres are able to provide safer and less invasive methods of dental care through the use of the latest dental technologies. To continue to provide such advanced technologies and treatments to their patients, both women regularly participate in continuing education seminars and remain active members of the American Dental Association, the Academy ofGeneral Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.

Dr. Minta Lopez-Torres

Dr. Lopez-Torres grew up in Amelia Island, Florida. She attended the University of Florida for both undergraduate and Dental School where she graduated with her DMD degree. Dr. Lopez-Torres has been living and practicing in Orlando since 2003. She is married to her wonderful husband “Goose” and they have recently had their first child, a son, Matias.

Dr. Amy Hertz

Dr. Hertz was raised in Lake Mary where she graduated from Lake Mary High School. Following high school, she attended the university of Florida where she received her BA in Zoology. After graduating, she continued her education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, earning a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. She has enjoyed practicing dentistry in Central Florida since 2003. Dr. Hertz resides in Lake Forest with her husband Jeremy and their son Austin.
